South to North youth volunteers

Over the past six months, Clarence from Solwezi in Zambia has been part of the weltwarts volunteer program, working with Tide Radio/TV in public relations and TV production. During her time there, she created and hosted her own radio show, “Jugendecke” (Youth Corner), a weekly program that aired every Wednesday.

Together with her co-host and guest youths, Clarence discussed a variety of topics focusing on young people in the Global South (Zambia) and the Global North (Germany) exploring similarities, differences, and ways to bridge the gaps between the two worlds.
